Personal Project
Kolkata metro, has conceptualized an all new mobile app to provide users a hassle free
journey and match the coeval e-culture. Hence, a new metro app, with all essentials at
one place, has been conceptualized, designed and developed
to provide sundry services
for an e-smooth user journey.
The Kolkata Metro app intends to provide all the information regarding a complete
journey. Users have the exclusive and comprehensive full map views and respective line
map views. Simple user interfaces have been developed for every level of user. The Metro
app helps user plan their journey and provides route, price, durations & distance
information. Any user can find out the nearest
Metro station from their current location.
The unique e-payment modes including e-wallets payments feature has been
introduced. The e-ticket feature does not require a user collect their ticket from the
counter and helps user
escape long tiring queues in the stations.
Simple and uncomplicated wireframes have been introduced prudently after focus
group research across all user groups to facilitate comfortable user journey under
different circumstances.
SCREENS
Each and every screen has been designed, developed and deployed sequentially
to guarantee thoroughness in the entire booking process.
PAYMENT PROCESS
The e-payment process permits user pay fast and conveniently. It reduces the
transaction cost thereby increasing the sale and the business.
JOURNEY
The user can locate the position of the
nearest metro station and can also track
their course of journey.
DIGITAL TICKETING SYSTEM
The e-ticket saves time of the customer and
allows user a fast and easy check in through
the QR code scanner at the entrance and
exit of the platform.
